Pay for your independent contractor's fees! – Work for Impact

At Work for Impact, we are committed to creating a fair world and providing exceptional work experiences for our users.

We now offer a new option to help you reward your independent contractors and ensure they receive their full payment. Instead of the independent contractor paying the service fee, you have the choice to pay it on their behalf.

By selecting this option, your independent contractor will receive their payment in full, and you will be charged a 10% independent contractor service fee plus a 5% processing fee on top of the payment amount.

For example, on a $100 transaction, your independent contractor would receive $100, and you would be charged $115 ($100 + 5% client fee [$5] + 10% independent contractor fee [$10])

You can enable this option in two ways:

Firstly, when sending a job offer, you can choose to waive the independent contractor’s fees from the start of the contract.
Alternatively, if you already have active jobs, you can turn this option on or off at any time, with the changes taking effect the following week.
